A lesson This is what happens when you try to be creative during the opening:

1. e4 e5
2. Nf3 Nc6
3. d4 exd4
4. Nxd4 Qh4
5. Nc3 Bb4
6. Nxc6 Qxe4+
7. Qe2 Nf6
8. Nxb4 1-0

I dont see anything wrong with 6....dxc6 instead of Qxe4+ or something like this

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 exd4 4. Nxd4 Qh4 5. Nc3 Bb4 6. Nxc6 Qxe4+ 7. Qe2
Bxc3+ 8. bxc3 Qxe2+ 9. Kxe2 dxc6

now white cant castle and development is even with each side have a double pawn on the c-file

Your play was perfectly fine, well, up until you dropped pieces, anyway. Instead of tossing two minor pieces with 7... Nf6, how about 7... Qxe2 8. Bxe2 dxc6 when Black seems to be doing quite well for himself.

in fact after the suggested 7... Bxc3+ 8. bxc3 Qxe2+ 9. K(or B)xe2 dxc6 black is almost winning with the Qs of the board and an extra pawn.

Yeah, looks like I slipped with that 7. ...Nf6 move. I started attacking early, but on the 7th move I decided to defend the queen for some reason :/ Well I certainly learned from this mistake, thanks for analyzing, everyone.
